Pauls Deauville centre

Paul wasnt feeling to great the next morning,Al wasnt feeling anything at all ,however at least we made it to our tents, not like this lad(above!)

This BMW was at the Antler, very nice it was.

Bert and Lynn`s Glide from the Isle of Bute, still unscratched after its wee trip round Mull`s roads.

A blast from the past, brendan supplied this foto, just need to find out who it is! Apparently the Kon Tiki was a Balsa raft that sailed across the Pacific in the 60`s by a bloke called Thor Heyrdal to prove that Hiawiians came from Fiji. So there. I thought that was the same name as an expedition that attempted to get up the Amazon-quite probably wrong about that !

The odds are getting better,2 BMW`s `v`2 Honda`s.. a couple of photos from sundays run, loads of bikes on the roads making the most of a decent day, overall the roads were pretty quiet, just enuff traffic to make it interesting,i didnt take a photo of the 2 lads in the ditch, man i slipped up there...

At a recent QRS race at Duns ,Peter MacGregor finished an excellent 2nd over-all on his 2-stroke Yamaha Banshee, pictured below.

MMCC Ride out
we catch the the 10.00 am Fishnish Lochaline ferry,  well,  some of us catch it and some of us arrive by the skin of our teeth. Its a good ride over the hill but as we drop back down towards Loch Sunart we hit some rain. not to worry its soon time for a stop at Strontian and a welcome cup of tea and a piece.
The rain has stopped and we head along the single track road for Salen and Ardnamurachan. its a nice ride, great scenery.
At Salen we take a detour and head for Cul Doilinn and a view of the Castle.
The guy at the front must have been going too fast as he loses the folk at the back, the folk at the back catch up and tell us of a whole new world they have discovered, which they promice to show us some other time.
Back on the road again, and we follow the twisting single track road to Kilhoan, we have lunch at the Kilhoan hotel, nothing special, but it was kind of them to do us some sandwiches on the chiefs day off.
The gang head home on the Kilhoan Tobermory ferry, Jim and Pat continue on their travels and ride out to the lighthouse which was quite interesting, unfortunetly jim was too mean to pay the money to go to the top of the lighthouse..... next time Pat !
a good day out.
